Mark Radcliffe is bringing together some of the finest in Irish music for a night that’ll have you dancing in the aisles at Knutsford Little Theatre!

WetTheTea, a multi- instrumented act fronted by singer-songwriter and musician Andy Connally. Along with Andy’s traditional Irish influences, Fluff and Adam bring their own musical tastes and styles that are collectively fused to create something a little bit different. With roots, English folk, bluegrass, and modern elements thrown in to the mix WetTheTea songs and tunesets are unique. Original self-penned songs make up the majority of the bands material, and Andy takes you on a journey through each of the songs he has written, and how they came to be. These words offer an insight into his experiences, passions and vulnerabilities with a feeling of familiarity and honesty. Collectively and individually WetTheTea writes musical pieces that are powerfully delicate and intriguing, with performance and flair that connects with people. Expect Vocals, harmonies, fiddle, flute, mandolin, cello, whistles, bodhran, guitar, piano, bouzouki, love, joy, sadness, foot tapping, singalong, storytelling, honesty and hope.

This years Saturday night of the festival is a big one, Saturday Night Blues at Knutsford Little Theatre is set to have you dancing in your seats! Headlined by the Vincent Flatts Band with local Duo Simister and Small returning to open the night this is an evening of great music!

Armed-to-the-teeth with new and original music, Vincent Flatts Final Drive are going full bore into 2024. Nothing but full-on, southern-infused, good-time, country rock ‘n’ roll.

And it won’t come retail. Wholesale only. Keep your eyes peeled for a gallon of new songs, all released online, and a tanker-load of gigs at venues up-and-down the country and beyond.

Now, if you don’t know the band yet, you’ll feel like you do once you see them live. Stephen “Bertie” Burton fronts the band, and his killer voice and come-one-come-all stage presence hits every last person right between the eyes. Come see for yourself. He’s the real deal.

In the 80s, Bertie fronted UK rock band Starfighters, touring the USA with AC/DC on their Back in Black tour and Ozzy Osbourne on his Diary of a Madman tour.

In the 90s he fell in love with country music. The real kind. And it was then the Flatts was born. Fast forward 20 years and Bertie’s high-octane, no-holds barred approach to life and living took its toll.

After some much-needed time out, he joined three other musicians (each nearly half his age) to reform his baby. Together, they’ve become a force, with critics likening their live performances to legends like Little Feat, and modern acts like Blackberry Smoke and the Zac Brown Band.

Since then, the band has performed at venues and festivals across the UK, Europe and Scandinavia. They’ve also recorded an EP, an album and have a whole slew of new material set to be released throughout 2024.
